1-855-306-8959How to Know if You Qualify for CCAP (Kentucky’s Child Care Assistance Program)
CCAP is the state program that 4-C KY can help you navigate. To qualify, you generally must:
- ✓ Reside in Kentucky and have a child who is under 13 years old, OR 13–19 years old with a disability.
- ✓ Live at or below 85% of the Kentucky State Median Income.

Meet one of these scenarios:
- Single parent working ~20 hours/week, or couple working ~40 hours/week, with income under CCAP limits.
- Full-time student in a certified trade school, college, or university.
- Participating in the SNAP Employment & Training Program or KentuckyWorks.
- Unemployed but in a 3-month job search.
- Teen parent in high school or GED program.
- Family involved in child protective/preventative services.
- ✓ Child status: The child must be a U.S. citizen or qualified legal immigrant (adults in the home do not need to be citizens).
